Hello World
Welcome to our new blog that is gone be dedicated to the build of our hometown “Gent” inside the virtual world called Second Life. Our group consist out of tpi Koba, Smossie Soderstrom, turrican Dagger and me Omi Koba, each with his unique skill and backgrounds in Art, 3d virtual worlds, internet or video-games. Building our home-city was one of the first idea’s we got when we were wandering our first steps inside Second Life a bit more then 2 months ago and now we finally got our island. We gone try and build everything as realistic as Second Life will allow it so that people really have the experience of being in “Gent“. Maybe some of them will decide to pay a visit to the real life city also and hopefully it will bring more Belgian people into Second Life. We are very lucky cause our city is full of old historical buildings, most from the middle ages so we really want to show the beauty of it and of course maybe try out a few ideas that might not be possible in the real city but more of that later, now we got to build first.
